Children’s OT Connection provides
pediatric occupational, physical, speech/ language and
tutoring services in the home, school or office based setting. We see children from
the first few months of life through elementary school
that are at risk for, or have documented developmental
delays. Our company’s mission is to provide quality
services that will help each child reach his or her
full potential with minimal disruption to their daily
lives and activities.
We focus on children with such diagnoses as Prematurity,
Developmental Delay, Hypotonia, Sensory Integration
Dysfunction, and ADD. Children with developmental delays
find it challenging to perform daily life activities.
As a result, these children are unable to reach their
full potential in the social and academic arenas. We
believe that intervention at an early age greatly reduces
the negative impact these difficulties can have on children
and helps them to be successful in their endeavors.
Many cities and towns offer therapy services to children.
However, the availability, consistency, and frequency
of these services are often limited. Parents have to
search for additional services to meet their child’s
needs and most of these services have long waiting lists.
In addition, they are not conveniently located and parents
find themselves traveling long distances to sit in crowded
waiting rooms while their child receives therapy. Group
therapy sessions are also common and while this works
well from a social perspective, often times each individual
child’s needs are not fully met. The team at Children’s
OT connection is highly qualified, friendly, and comes
with many years of experience. Children receive quality
services and individualized attention in in a comfortable setting.
Children’s OT Connection was founded by a physician/
parent and an experienced, dedicated occupational therapist.
Together we recognized that children with difficulties
have specific needs that cannot always be met solely
by the school or early intervention. We offer a service that is in the convenience of your home or school. We feel that with the familiarity of the
setting each child is better able to focus on skill
development thereby optimizing success!!
Each visit includes 45-50 minutes of direct therapy
and 10-15 minutes of parent / caregiver consultation.
This is an opportunity for parents / caregivers to receive
information on the session and receive strategies and
activities to help at home and school.
Children’s OT Connection is dedicated to providing
the highest quality OT, PT, Speech, and Tutoring services
so your child can reach their full potential. We are
also dedicated to providing these services in a way
that benefits the individual needs of your child and
accommodates parent’s busy schedules at a competitive
cost. We look forward to hearing from you!!
